Student Travel Support to PAC24
The IEEE Industry Applications Society (IAS) is offering support to African student authors, providing a maximum of $1,000 each to attend the Power Africa Conference.
The grant covers conference fees, travel reimbursement, accommodation, and on-ground support. Selected students will be responsible for booking their travel to Johannesburg, South Africa, but will be reimbursed using the IEEE Concur platform after the conference.
Eligibility:
- Be a currently enrolled undergraduate or postgraduate student.
- Hold a valid, active IEEE student membership with the IAS specialty society membership.
- Be an African citizen.
- Have an accepted paper for the Power Africa Conference (Paper ID required).
- Demonstrate financial need by providing documentation confirming the absence of support from a faculty advisor or other sources.
- Be able to actively participate as an author, speaker, panelist, or tutorial instructor during the conference.
