Ornella has a recent bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from University of Rwanda/College of Science and Technology. She is a Project manager and Electrical engineer in Great Lakes energy and she has been there since 2019.

She got a certificate from Africa Energy services Group (AESG) and TramaTecno Ambiental (TTA) in a training program on Pre-feasibility study in Rwanda and other related certificates like Photovoltaic Technology from IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers), SEE change Empowered Employee training and other trainings.

Ornella is an auditor of POWERHer a recent established network of women working in energy sector in Rwanda.
